Analysis of The Chameleon
I am the pretender,
I pretend to be many things that I am not,
I cry within my laughs,
And frown within my smiles;
My eyes lie with shades of green,
I don't mean to pretend, but the thought of
Someone someday knowing, makes me hide.

About this poem
I wrote this a while ago when I felt like I had to hide how I really felt. I put on a happy face when I actually felt sad.
