Analysis of Spot On
Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)
I am not able to love you like Jesus
I can’t do the things that he does to please us
I might make you laugh at the drop of a hat
But I can’t keep you satisfied, only he can do that
I’m trying to give you all that I’ve got
But rejecting my love you put me on the spot
