Analysis of THE RUBRIC
Naveen Malhotra Jul 24, 2021
THE RUBRIC
Don't be dogmatic
Don't be sceptic
The rubric I give
Be practical and scientific
Look at things in a new way
Possibilities striking at first absurd
Be willing to consider
Don't show excessive respect
For those in authority
Apply ordinary rules of evidence
Don't complicate by bias
Aim at clarity and simplicity
Don't make haste
Accepting a doctrine thoughtlessly
Suspend judgement
To consider and reconsider
Finding its usefulness
I have said it
Don't mind it
I shall be glad
If it hits the minds
The rubric I give!
