Analysis of Broken
LORD, WHY ME!!!
Lost a man that I truly loved,
Lost a blessing of a baby,
How much more could there be?
Took care of him more than me,
and then one day, he just decided to leave.
Gave everything I could, including two babies,
But I guess that wasn't enough to keep him with me.
No Valentine's Day, No holidays with us, his family,
and the during the holidays, a part of me was gone.
MY BABY!
Cried and cried because of what I had to go through alone.
Wanted to end it all and ready for God to take me home,
But for some reason, God continued to lift me and make me strong.
When I got so low and felt like I couldn't go on,
My children brought me back just with their smiles.
They believed in me when I didn't believe in myself.
My son showed me the power of being a mother and that he would ALWAYS take care of me,
and that was all I needed for me to get back up.
Though I miss this man dearly,
God told me one day to BELIEVE.
My kids saved me from being BROKEN,
and one day I hope I can forgive that man for leaving!
Dedicated to11 years

About this poem
This poem is about giving 11 years of your life to a man that you truly loved that walks out one day and never returns. Its about raising two young kids on you on for most of the years and just having their father around so you wouldn't have a broken home, but finally after praying over and over, GOD helps bring you through and reminds you're stronger.
