Analysis of My Beautiful Loving Tree
Omaira Ospino 1952 (Barquisimeto)
Could my hands stop the strong wind blowing its leaves while my tree was softly falling asleep?
No, they couldn’t, I couldn’t.
My soul is broken, I feel the pain
While my tree was softly falling asleep.
Yet, later
a soft feeling took hold of my whole being.
Memories? Yes! From those wonderful days
when a colorful little bird sang happily
on a branch of my beautiful loving tree.
Could these feelings be stolen by someone else?
No, they are mine, just mine and always will be.
