Analysis of Rough Stuff

Thorns in the grass
Yet--wow!
They come up
In certain seasons.
Cutting them off
Won't help.
Grabbing the jabs,
One gets bloody.
The struggle's
In the root,
Not the stalks.
Forgiveness is sharper.
Dig down deep.
