Analysis of Battle Cry

Magenta Winans 1972 (Bexar county)

I stand here today a woman. Your ignorance leads you to believe that I am weak, just as you are. You have pushed and you have shoved and you dare to take all that I love. This woman she will not fall ! With my fists I will fight if I must fight you at all                         Crazy you say I am but now I'm like an Indian fighting for my land. So prepare your soldiers, you and your army of one for what you have started is a battle that could never be won.      I have followed your rules and I have even walked away but you just don't quit and for this one day you will pay So hear my battle cry and pay close attention to the decisions you make For God is on my side and my children you will not take !!!!
