Analysis of Help

Now, I got my soul
Earth gave me a blow
Like the drowning stone
I hit far depths
A feeling of death

Around are a million folks
On their watch, a helpless choke!
For my hands, I stretched
Alas! no one it met
A wicked agony I felt

Now, I lost my soul
In grief, a party they throw
Billions, the blood that shows
Few are those I know
A final salute for my toast?
A funny ridicule to the ghost!

Sodiq Abdulwahab

I grew up in a rural area, and most of my time is spent outdoors playing football and running around the community. Even though there isn't any significant difference from my childhood living conditions, I am a very knowledgeable and learned person. I am confident that I can become whoever I want to be with my knowledge. I sometimes write poems to put my thoughts into words, and the majority of the time, my poems come from what's happening around me. more…
