Analysis of when corners meet

Phillip Bennett 2000 (Dallas Texas)

A Classroom's lights are shut off following the eager vacancy of newly freed students
for the summer
we follow

the hallways
the stairs
the many regular meeting places
swarmed with one last breath of
clanging doors, rushed walking chatter,
beaming laughter

then a suffocating stillness
angles, parallels, perpendiculars
light reflection, uniform imperfections
forgotten items, unsettled dust
the whole orchestrated dimensionality
starts a slow constricting

liminal space
brilliantly blank
