Analysis of Gather strength
Ronald Tirino 1962 (NYC)
Gather strength
the journey begins
through milestones
of horizons unknown
on the rising wind
those who fall along the way
to the bitter taste left behind
and the scorching earth
yet we rise to face the day
to go where we need to go
single stone on open roads
precious light in darkest night
I roamed the reckage of our age
scatter like leaves
in the whistling wind
under a crimson sky
crickets in the distance
sing the dance of life
sounds of branches thunder
above the trembling grass
we sat amidst the weathered stones
bleached by ancient suns
listening to those that
walk and talk no more
but left thier mark for those to come
they dream no more
and leave to us thier dreams
