Analysis of I Used to Hate Avocadoes

I used to hate avocados
Now I eat them everyday
Life is change,
So they say

Change,
Something we do all the time
Yet it rarely comes easy

One day I’m drowning in sorrow
The next day, I feel breezy

Terrifying or beautiful
The way it works
We yearn for the good times to last longer
And the dreadful ones to go

But all things change in life
Time marches on
The rhythm is as constant
As the beats in a song

Thoughts, beliefs, emotions
One day strong
As the winds of life blows
New ones replace the ones that’ve gone

It just keeps moving
No matter how we feel
Always on an up and down roll
Like a never ending ferris wheel

Yes, change is scary
But also exhilarating
To not know the possibilities
That it will bring

It’s how nature works
That’s the way it is
When we realize that existence is change
Life becomes bliss

And now, I love avocados.
