Analysis of The Littles are Watching

The Littles are Watching

The littles are watching.
Do you care?
They are taking it all in.
Are you aware?
They will repeat what they see and hear.  Would you be proud, or in fear?
Their precious souls God gave you to nourish, so, one day they could grow up and flourish.
It won't be long,
before they are gone.
To navigate their life,
with so much strife.
So, what are you waiting for?
Open that door.
The one that leads to forevermore,
Jesus Our Lord.
The littles are watching, it's time to show,
the way Jesus intended us to glow.
By following Him, that is the way to be,
in order to reach eternity.

About this poem

I started this poem 2 years ago because I was moved at how so many young parents were not being cautious with their words or actions around their young children. Then while in my quiet time one morning with Jesus, the rest of the poem came to me.
