Analysis of Light In The Dark

Light In The Dark
Author: Mark V. Markov

On the path of truth
The shining light
Feeling this hope
I'm living
I'm breathing

With a free will
Being away from doing wrong,
And to always do right,
In Triune God I believe in.

The voice is calling,
Within me.
I can hear it,
I can hear it,
I can feel it,
I can feel it.

In memory,
The words of Jesus Christ
The words of life
That were said
As it was before
It is now

He is the Life
He is the Light in the dark
One step away from you
He is the Life
He is the Light in the dark,
The Everlasting Truth.

This Holy power,
I feel inside
Within the reason
With all mind and heart
In God
I believe in

Do remember that,
To Jesus Christ surrender.
Never again the same.
As love overcomes all hate.
As it was before
It is now

Light in the dark
One step away from you
Light in the dark
Jesus Christ,
He is the way,
And the Everlasting Truth.

It's still not too late
To change
To always love
And never hate

Light in the dark
One step away from you
Light in the dark
Jesus Christ,
He is the way,
And the Everlasting Truth

Light in the dark
He will help you
To always stay true

Light in the dark
Light in the dark
Light in the dark

All right,
Let my heart always follow,
The Light in the dark.
All right
I wanna always be led by
My Lord Jesus Christ
He is the way
And the Everlasting Truth

I wanna be led by,
The Light in the dark,
The Light in the dark,
The Light in the dark.......

John 1:1-5 (ESV)

The Word Became Flesh

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 He was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.

4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men.

5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

John 14:1 (ESV)

I Am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life
"Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.

John 14:6 (ESV)

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life.

1 John 1:1-10 (ESV)

The Word of Life

1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard,
which we have seen with our eyes, which we looked upon and have touched with our hands,
concerning the word of life—

2 the life was made manifest, and we have seen it,
and testify to it and proclaim to you the eternal life,
which was with the Father and was made manifest to us—

3 that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you,
so that you too may have fellowship with us;
and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.

4 And we are writing these things so that our joy may be complete.
Walking in the Light

5 This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light,
and in him is no darkness at all.

6 If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness,
we lie and do not practice the truth.

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another,
and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

10 If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Luke 11:1-13 (ESV)

The Lord's Prayer

1 Now Jesus was praying in a certain place, and when he finished, one of his disciples said to him,
“Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples.”

2 And he said to them, “When you pray, say:

“Father, hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come.

3
Give us each day our daily bread,

4
and forgive us our sins,
for we ourselves forgive everyone who is indebted to us.
And lead us not into temptation.”

5 And he said to them, “Which of you who has a friend will go to him at midnight and say to him,
‘Friend, lend me three loaves,

6 for a friend of mine has arrived on a journey, and I have nothing to set before him’;

7 and he will answer from within, ‘Do not bother me; the door is now shut,
and my children are with me in bed. I cannot get up and give you anything’?

8 I tell you, though he will not get up and give him anything because he is his friend,
yet because of his impudence he will rise and give him whatever he needs.

9 And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock,
and it will be opened to you.

10 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.

11 What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent;

12 or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?

13 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children,
how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

Deuteronomy 30:1-20 (ESV)

Repentance and Forgiveness

1 “And when all these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse,
which I have set before you, and you call them to mind among all the nations
where the Lord your God has driven you,

2 and return to the Lord your God, you and your children,
and obey his voice in all that I command you today,
with all your heart and with all your soul,

3 then the Lord your God will restore your fortunes and have mercy on you,
and he will gather you again from all the peoples where the Lord your God has scattered you.

4 If your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of heaven, from there the Lord your God will gather you,
and from there he will take you.

5 And the Lord your God will bring you into the land that your fathers possessed,
that you may possess it. And he will make you more prosperous and numerous than your fathers.

6 And the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your offspring,
so that you will love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.

7 And the Lord your God will put all these curses on your foes and enemies who persecuted you.

8 And you shall again obey the voice of the Lord and keep all his commandments that I command you today.

9 The Lord your God will make you abundantly prosperous in all the work of your hand,
in the fruit of your womb and in the fruit of your cattle and in the fruit of your ground.
For the Lord will again take delight in prospering you, as he took delight in your fathers,

10 when you obey the voice of the Lord your God, to keep his commandments
and his statutes that are written in this Book of the Law,
when you turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

The Choice of Life and Death

11 “For this commandment that I command you today is not too hard for you, neither is it far off.

12 It is not in heaven, that you should say, ‘Who will ascend to heaven for us and bring it to us,
that we may hear it and do it?’

13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that you should say,
‘Who will go over the sea for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?’

14 But the word is very near you. It is in your mouth and in your heart, so that you can do it.

15 “See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil.

16 If you obey the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you today,
by loving the Lord your God, by walking in his ways,
and by keeping his commandments and his statutes and his rules, then you shall live and multiply,
and the Lord your God will bless you in the land that you are entering to take possession of it.

17 But if your heart turns away, and you will not hear,
but are drawn away to worship other gods and serve them,

18 I declare to you today, that you shall surely perish.
You shall not live long in the land that you are going over the Jordan to enter and possess.

19 I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death,
blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live,

20 loving the Lord your God, obeying his voice and holding fast to him,
for he is your life and length of days,
that you may dwell in the land that the Lord swore to your fathers,
to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”
