Analysis of Long Term Stir

Into a warm and inviting kitchen.
A place in many homes,
Where people gather to go...
To sit and meet,
Family members, neighbors and friends.
Along with others,
There to share and enjoy to meet.

Treated with snacks.
And a pleasant hospitality.
With a doing to talk about this and that.
Leaving no one to feel,
It unnatural or unwelcomed to join in the act.

So accustomed and familiar,
Had been these times...
To once experience them lived.
An exchanging of laughter and fun.
No one felt it negative.

Then these times came,
Dramatically to change.
To now and today become,
A long term to stir up lies told to tell.
On anyone.
For no other reason but to chew the fat.
With the wish to want it hoped,
A doing of that will bring anyone back.
To share the latest gossip and news.
Juicy and mouth watering.
Done to choose and victimized,
A family member, friend or not.
Chosen to abuse.

And the few who do decide to return,
With gossip to add to a sizzling hot pot.
Pouring tea mixed with delicious B.S.
Stirred up to have lips dripping,
As more deception no one regrets.
To pass this nonsense on to someone else.

'Tell me this,
Where on Earth...
Did you get the ingredients for this stuff?
It is so delicious.
I have become addicted to it.
Where did you get the recipe?'

The others who use to join me in the kitchen,
For some reason,
Have not returned to come back.
Well...

It's homemade.
I added and stirred up,
Some tasteful stuff I had forgotten I had.
From a long gone past.
Then remembered peppered spice,
Not too hot.
But in my mind, for whatever the reason,
It came back to reminisce to last.
And now all I do,
Is to keep it stirred up.
