Analysis of Beat the bush

M.R.P 2000 (Bushbuckridge)

The bush I beat
I beat the bushes
Around them, I beat
But still not so clean

I play around the truth
I show the blind the truth
I tell the deaf the truth
Yet they can't see nor hear

Get the idea
Like a mosquito, I squash
I kid, like an immature child
In fear to show my tears
Though my feelings I kind of share
My speech deceives and not clear
As a consequence, I lose those dear

I take small doses
I just toddle
I mumble jumble
Under the influence
Of adrenalin
Of moral confusion

The bush I beat
And it hits me back
Look at my scars
My cuts in spirited salt
I beat the bush like I'm cutting onions
My lower eyelid flows like waterfall
