Analysis of Heartaches
My heart aches today, like it’s been stripped raw, left to bleed out. Dripping unspent love, puddling before being devoured by the thirsty ground. A pain so deep my whole body weeps from the intensity.
My days are cloudy, I can no longer see the sun. Shades of ruin have enshrouded me in their arms once more. Will I step out this time? Do I even want too?
I will nestle in these darkened halls, licking my wounds. Eventually they will no longer bleed, but they will never heal. A fading reminder of the love I was consumed with. My devotion, gazed upon and found lacking.
