Analysis of My Bird Sonnet for You
We admire the plumes of pretty feathers
As they soar above us with ease and grace
Free and splendid with no bonds or tethers
Sublime and filigree like vintage lace
We desire their delicate melody
Pretty Orchestra of quilled musicians
Who sweetly sing for meek or royalty
Delight us with the grand exhibitions
We need you blessed birds, fragile and free
Little winged angels, perfectly serene
Release us from time's pain and agony
Diminishing fear of the unforeseen
Great Mystery giving a quintessence
Of nature, thus we love its evanescence
