Analysis of Almost Speaking Love

James Schanne 1958 (Vineland)

It’s spread smoothly across the breakfast toast

It’s in the morning words have a good day

It’s on the broccoli and garlic I roast

It’s always  there what we forget to say

It wakes in the cooling ripples I blew

Across your coffee that was just too hot

It touches the ear with all that’s true

It’s in every meal that hits the right spot

It’s felt on your neck when I’m behind you

The breathe that tickles the child inside

The whispers we trade we privately chew

Knowing their from the heart and they’ll guide

A taste of heaven I slice just for you

All of my love That will always be true
