Analysis of Journey To The Light
Years from now the world's end has come and only a handful remain.
They journey towards the light, a lone beam penetrating endless darkness.
Led by an angel, they journey ever forward, years and years passing by.
Until finally they have come.
They see the light and all its glory
The angel gently guides them in one by one
But inside was not paradise, but fire blazing hot as the sun.
The angel laughed, said, “You've been tricked.”
They all realized then that they were in Hell, deceived by a wicked demon.
What's the moral of the story, you ask? When offered light, make sure it does not lead into fire.

About this poem
This is a poem I wrote when I was young and have still worked on as I aged. I don't remember how old it is. The poem itself is a bit of a criticism of blind belief.
