Analysis of WHEN A YOUNG LIFE IS TAKEN
A young life lost could have been
A brave fighter for justice and freedom,
A compelling voice to push us to be our best,
A special talent in writing/singing/acting/teaching
To be a force for good.
We mourn the loss of that person
And what he/she could’ve been,
Whether a teen, child, babe, or fetus,
It’s a loss for the world.
Each soul has tremendous potential.
When lost, the full loss is unknown.
But there would have been someone
More joyful because of that life,
More fulfilled because of that talent,
More steadfast because of that support,
More productive because of that love.
