ମୋ କୁକୁର ଚାହୁନି ଶିଙ୍କୁଳି
ଖାଇବାକୁ ଦେଉଛି ମୁଁ ଯାହା ଖାଉଛି
ରାଜନୀତି ତାର ଏମିତି,
ଭୁକିଲେ ବାର ବାର ମୁଁ ଦେଉଛି ତାକୁ ଛାଡ଼ି।
ଦେଉଛି ସିନା ତକୁଛାଡ଼ି,
ସିଏବି ଆସୁଛି ପାଖକୁ, ବାନ୍ଧି ହେବାକୁ ଶିଙ୍କୁଳି।
ମୋ ରାଜନୀତି ସେ ବୁଝିଛି, ମୁଁ ବି ତାକୁ ବୁଝିଛି।
ପେଟ, ବ୍ୟବହାର, ସଂସ୍କୃତ, ସବୁ ତାର ଓ ମୋର ଭିନ୍ନ,
ସମାଜିକ, ନୈତିକ, ଆତ୍ମିକ ଇତ୍ୟାଦି ରୁଚି, ଅନ୍ୟର ସଂସ୍ପର୍ଶରେ ଆସିଲେ ଜାଣି ହେଉଛି,
ମୋ ଘର, ଡିହକୁ ସେ ନିଜର ଭାବୁଛି।
ସ୍ଵାଧୀନତା ନାହିଁ, ଭୁକୁଛି
ବେଳେ ବେଳେ ମୋ ନିଦ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ଦେଉଛି,
ମୁଁ ଶିଙ୍କୁଳି ଖୋଲୁଛି, ପୁଣି ବାନ୍ଧୁଛି,
ଆମ ଦେଶରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି ଅନେକ କୁକୁର ପ୍ରଜାତି,
ତାଙ୍କ କଥା ମୁଁ ଜାଣିନି।
ମୁଁ ଆଜି ମାଲିକ, ମୁଁ ଗଲେ କଣ ହେବ,
ସ୍ବାଧିନ କୁକୁର ଭଲ,
ନିଜ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ନିଜର।
ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ କଲି, ସ୍ୱାଧୀନ କୁକୁର ଭଲ, ପାଗଳ ନହେଲେ କାହାକୁ ଭୁକନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ କି କାମୁଡ଼ନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ,
ସେ ଭଲ।
