Analysis of Elizabethan Prayer

An olive branch passed.
As token of unity.
A peace offering.
By monarch King Charles the Third.
A Royal Dispensation.

The House of Windsor.
By Commonwealth Nations linked.
At war — and in peace.
A centurion’s history.
Together — their legacy.

William, Harry, Kate, Meghan.
The four of you now — as one.
By God’s divine will.
House united will not fall.
Elizabethan Prayer.

About this poem

Her Royal Highness Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom and her Colonies, reigned with grace and majestically for 70 glorious years, until her passing on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at the age of ninety six. May her majesty’s divine will, authority, and her soulful prayer for unity, continue to be exercised, by uniting her kingdom, and showering blessings on her son, the new king, His Royal Highness Charles III, and by equally showering blessings on all her descendants, and on all who succeed her. The peace of the Lord be with her entire household.
