Analysis of Sometimes
Sometimes "I" attach
"I" want
"I" crave
"I" desire
And "I" don't know why
This feeling of being at odds with myself, "I" hate it : Because "I" feel like "I" shouldn't FEEL this way
"I" should be more than my emotions
my wants
my desires
my feelings
That "I" should be more than human
better than human
stronger than human
Sometimes "I" feel as though "I" shouldn't be at all
Sometimes "I" feel as though "I" shouldn't exist
shouldn't have been born
Should have never been the twinkle in my father's eye
Why? Why? Why? Why? Why?
Why do all this?
Sometimes "I" plead with God, and in return he gives me no answer
Most times, the answer is there in my heart
All times, actually
"I" don't like the answers
Sometimes "I" hate God
hate Love
hate awareness
hate consciousness
hate
"I" hate
All of my problems come from "I"
Sometimes "I" escape "I"
Other times
"I" feel like how "I" feel now
The reason "I" write this

About this poem
I feel sad, alone, hurt in a world that doesn't seem to care. And yet I keep on caring for no reason except that I do. It hurts tremendously.
