Analysis of Righteous Delivery
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
I will bless the Lord all the time,
His praise comes continually;
He has forgiven all my crimes,
I committed casually.
My soul makes a boast in the Lord,
Let the humble hear and be glad;
No longer let it be ignored,
So that we can be feeling glad.
O magnify the Lord with me,
And exalt His name together;
So that others can come and see,
In the temple where we gather.
I sought the Lord, and He heard me,
Delivered me from all my fears;
Since I abide by His decree,
For I am someone who reveres.
Look at Him to be radiant,
Your face shall never be ashamed;
Incite and be obedient,
Ensuring His name is proclaimed.
Because the Lord has heard my plea,
Rescued me out of my trouble;
His angel watches over me,
For pulling me from the rubble.
Taste and see that the Lord is good,
Bless all those who have put their trust;
Doing the way you always should,
By throwing away any lust.
O fear the Lord being His saint,
Those who fear Him will never lack;
Accomplishing without restraint,
As His angel watches your back.
