Analysis of Goodbye
As this goodbye
That I say to you
Brings me to tears
Wishing it wasn't true...
As this time
That seems to stand still
Pulls me apart
Ready to kill
As this breath
That I take
But don't feel
Brings heartache
As this soul
That i let go
Go it does
Leaving a hole
As this love
That i always hold
That i always held
Leaves me cold
As this heart
That was attuned
To the tunes
Of the moon
As these eyes
That once feasted on
The sight of your body
Have become worn
As these ears
That carried your whispers
Have starved themselves
In deep despair
As this body
That laid beside you
Feeling in sync
Now split in two..
As this reality
That refuses to hide..
My dear it is time
I said goodbye...
As this goodbye
That is my last
I will always remember
What you and I had
