Analysis of Growing Old

as kids we used to see the world as a place where you face your fears,
as a place where you only feel loved and never see the bad in people,
as a place where you were living because you had a purpose.

as teenagers we used to see the world as a place where everything was a fear,
as a place where you never felt any love or affection,
as a place where we didn't have a purpose in living .

as adults we used to see the world as a place where you need to face your fears ,
as a place where you needed to forgive and forget ,
as a place where you have a purpose.

as elderly we used to see the world as a place where you've faced your fears,
as a place where you've accomplished everything that you needed to,
as a place where you had purpose .

growing old is one thing you can never escape  , that's the true fear we should all have but we are to worried about what happens when we're older that we never realize we are the ones growing old.

the fear I've had my entire life would be how we saw the world.
