Analysis of On the Road to Nowhere
On the Road to Nowhere,
I was on that road, not having a destination
The heart was optimistic, I rode with him
Go wherever your heart leads they say
Not sure if my heart led me but I felt nothing,
My heart was empty guess it was desperation
On the road to nowhere,
I saw no butterflies,
Birds did not sing, not even an owl
just a bare ground yielding no fruit
All the seeds I poured dried and withered
Guess the road was barren.
Now I am on the road no more,
Strangely I feel the happiness
Nothing to fear, nothing to worry,
Alone is peace, alone is happiness,
This moment, I must cherish.
