Analysis of SAVIOR

Maxie Vestal 1966 (Ft.Smith Ark.)

                          SAVIOR
BE CALM , BE STILL
I HAVE SOMETHING  FOR YOU TO DO
SPREAD MY WORD
SAVE A SOUL
THAT'S ALL I'M ASKING OF YOU
THE FATHER
THE SON
& THE BLESSED HOLY SPIRIT
YOU NEED TO HURRY THOUGH
GABRIEL IS ABOUT TO SOUND HIS HORN
I CAN ALMOST HEAR IT
THIS TIME HE IS RETURNING A LION
NO LONGER A SACRIFICIAL LAMB
FOR AS GOD THE FATHER TOLD MOSES
I AM
THAT I AM
SO IF THE PRINCE OF LIES HAD YOU
ON A SLIPPERY SLOP
MY FRIEND YOU MUST COME TO JESUS
HE IS OUR SAVIOR
AND HE IS YOUR ONE AND ONLY HOPE !

About this poem
