Analysis of Trying to survive

"Trying to Survive"

Im trying to survive in a world thats cold...
Trying to survive in a land too bold...
Trying to survive where love hasnt shown...
In a world where no one cares...
In a land with nothing but fear...
Where hate is the majority with starvation and poverty...
A place where laws arent rules, for the dumb uneducated fools...
We try to better ourselves...
But life wont let you survive...
Its times like these we drop to our knees and pray...
We ask for a better way to start and finish the day...
Are the tools of compassion, just a rich mans fashion?...
Do we revert to the animals and act like cannibals?...
We prayed for the Holy Ghost...
We prayed for a religious man...
But God only sent us "Black Adam, Shazam"...
