Analysis of Fire Proof
Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)
Christmas has become a time
To grab all you desire;
Forget about the fact that you
Will not escape the fire!
The fire has come upon the earth
To test the hearts of men.
His name is Jesus; Son of God,
He is the great I AM!
He brandishes a mighty sword;
Dividing bone and marrow.
The journey’s long; the time is short.
So, walk the straight and narrow!
God the Father loves you so;
He gave you Christ His Son!
Though the battles may be many,
Yet the victory He has won!
