Analysis of Be You

Brianca Wallace 1989 (Baltimore)

You always been a problem, how can you produce solution?
You always been the blame and yet you show no shame,
You wear your hair up in a ponytail and your face always stressed,
You look away when your acknowledged because you don’t want to be reminded your the problem,
What do you do?
Everyone around says it ain’t you but boo it’s you,
You seem to know the answers but your smarts will little boy them,
Your looks are too damn stunning but you will only blind them,
Your not normal, your weird but who cares when you their outcome,
Your not you, beloved
You are hiding behind them,
Come out, Show out, Don’t look away again
They will never be a friend
Don’t let them take away your love for you, Amen
