Analysis of Twentysomethin
I'll soon be twentysomethin'
Dunno a damn thing
Running around in circles not knowing who I'm supposed to be
They say live young, wild and free
Will that be my story??
I'm chasing my dreams
Telling nobody about it
They'll call me crazy
Shouldn't live in a daydream
It's all so stupid
I don't live in a city of dreams
Still dream in a city so I can breathe
I don't want to be a part of society
That only accepts a version of who I can never be
Didn't had a sweet sixteen but I dream of a sweet twentysomethin'
Will it always just be a dream ?
I don't know maybe
Should have known till now
Now that I am no longer a teen
Will I be another ICARUS losing his wings ??
I hope it's really not what I think
Fingers crossed for my twntysomethin'
