I wooed for mushroom eyes: which only I could value as priceless, precious. Above me, fierce adjuncts and associate professors eagerly sawed away the yew-flower-boards of my career, and yet, sickly, I showered from my hands a general assault of a sea of compliments

In wars of heart-throbs - and with obedient forbearance I surrendered to saleable men of interest, and I deviated! - Suddenly my youth became my pitiful coffin: insidious answers played upon my foolishly exploitable conscience!
