Analysis of Sing From My Heart

Shawnice Pate 1991 (Brooklyn)

I've been singing from my heart.

My voice warms my heart

I sing about what I go through

Sometimes constant or at once

Within different times of the day and evening.

My songs are sung happily.

Happily sung with escaping emotions.

They are crying out to express their joys and sadness.

Other times to show my attitude and opinions.

My songs are the gateway to me.
