Analysis of Befuddled
I went home yesterday
And heard trees whistling
Which made leaves clutching
unto their dear Mothers, afraid, helpless and
almost drowned themselves into
the ground, in order not to be sent
To the land of their forefathers
I went to the ocean today
Its tide was pleading, pleading
With me with puppy eyes not to
Take its children away
"Do not cut off my lineage please... "
So I looked up to the sky
And was surprised, it was crying like
a little child deprived of food
Wailing, calling on me to help
talk to these monsters in sheep
clothing, so they relieve it of
the poisonous fangs attacking its
Family
But when I look back at my
Homeland, I saw all and sundry
Fighting for liquor, killing and robbing
for it like scavengers on the battlefield
When in reality, they are welcoming
with open arms, slayers that will
wipe them out tomorrow
So tell me
Where do I start from?
