Analysis of Being a little boy, i once had a dream

Being a little boy, I once had a dream,
Wanted to swing like Spider-Man, just like a laser beam,
Wanted to be there to help, when I heard the scream,
Being a little boy, I once had a dream.

Being a teenager, I once had dream,
Wanted to be an engineer, like Iron Man did, To make amazing suits and fly like a supreme, Being a teenager, I once had a dream.

I joined the college, to make my career bright, But my minds worked differently, as it doesn’t felt all right,
looking in a mirror I asked, “is this all I want ?”, I realised this is not me, I need passion of my life.

Had this visions, believing on my self-esteem, But as the time changed, at the age of my 18, My father got in accident, it was like nightmare has been called,
Rushed him to the hospital, as he was critical all along,
Mother called me on my phone, was sobbing with a scream,
I left my hostel from the interval and rushed toward the medicine.

I was standing at funeral, had never thought of my dreams,
I can’t leave my mother alone, whenever I remember those screams,
Left all the daydreams behind, and I evolved between life,
Leaving those aims behind, made my mind cleaned.

But still there was a light, that was never ever died,
I still wanted to fly like those heroes, that was little inside,
But didn’t know what I need to do, I need to take care of my mom,
Just needed a little pace up, in the story of my life.

Handful of dreams of mine was just a little tale, The moral was the vital point, I wanted to fly once without fail,
I don’t have a web shooter nor an iron suit,
But my hope is still flying high, like a bullet of barrel.

I saw my little toys, from my childhood once again,
Writing this poem along, while sitting with my dreams again,
Got a chance to know my wings, as it wasn’t any super gains,
It was just a paper and pad, writing stories with a pen.

Sadness is fuel of mine, felt this is my adrenaline,
Dad’s death was not a curse, he gave me a gift on seen,
I started to write things, and I found myself,
I was still glad that, “Being a little boy, I once had a dream”.
