Analysis of Gone wishin’

Synnder 1990 (New York)

They say there’s plenty of fish in the sea
Yet there’s only one I’d wish be with me
I could cast a net and gather a shoal
But catch and release is not my goal

There’s only one that makes my heart swim
that makes me want to go out on a whim
I could cast my lure into the lake
But I’m afraid to lead my heart to break

So I’ll sail on the waves out into the sun
Until it’s my time to be with the one
Keep my head up and continue to grow
Wind lead my path and I’ll go with the flow
