Analysis of I Cannot Rage In Springtime

I CANNOT RAGE IN SPRING

I so want to write
Of regret and of fear
Of lost love and lack
To keep it quite near
I want to be abject
My rage to unfurl
But I cannot, for Springtime
Arrived in my world

I so want to curse
To rage and to rant
Write my thoughts on a page
But I have to recant
For Springtime is here
How can I so?
When outside my door
All the world is aglow

Aglow with the birdsong
Each morning I hear
Aglow as the robin
Rebuilds for his year
Aglow with the lambs
Calling over the dawn
Aglow with an early
Sunrise in the morn

So I rant and I roar
I fear and I dread
But I cannot write down
What goes on in my head.
