Analysis of Lord Inscrutable
Oh Lord, inscrutable and full of might
To my feeble mind prone to fault,
But not because Thine seraphim did light
The giant sphere above the world.
And to the dead man with a fiery face
The laws you’ve given to adhere,
You wake all things by living rays,
Your zeal for myriads of years.
Oh Lord, inscrutable and full of might,
Because I am to wane and disperse,
But like the Seraphim’s, my flame inside
Is brighter than the universe.
Despite I've fallen prey to vanity,
Through her impermanence she plays,
This flame's eternal, boundless as Thee -
And knows neither time nor space.
