Analysis of The boy in the man

The boy in the man

You can hold him tight but he won’t stay for long.
Tearful goodbyes urge the craving for a  new  hello.
A lost soul with somewhere to be is all you’ll get to know.
With a trail of broken hearts is all he has to his name.
The curious demon starts a innocent flame.
A boy in a man is what he’s been accused to be.
A cold hearted liar in the first degree.
There’s a 100 years of living and 100 more after that.
But his spirit will still be around way longer after that.
Not from impact or presence but from bridges he’s burned.
Conveying the illusion of love from lessons never learned.
Hiding his hurt by Trading his time for wealth just to Live fast on a highway to hell.
Broken promises and second chances is what drives his sins to secrets he can never tell.
Problems that are fixed with a lustful touch and a silver tongue.
A romance he assured to be love sprung .
But His drunken words tell his sober thoughts
what happened in darkness eventually comes to the light.
Another heart shattered with pain but with every excuse he’s always sure to be  right.
And again the tears drops fall.
At the fault of a boy that’s just within the man.
