Analysis of The Farmer
There was a farmer who once wish
To eat such an extravagant dish
Planting under the scorching heat
He imagined that beef juicy meat
Every morning when he goes to work
He randomly thinks of that crunchy pork
And as the calluses on his hands continue to thicken
He assumes he's one step closer to that marinated chicken
Food became his main inspiration
To strive in his difficult situation
But given the circumstance where he was born
And all his crops destroyed by the heavy storm
It pierced his heart to simply accept
Those delicious meals he won't get
But a rare opportunity abruptly came
When he got invited by a famous name
The whole town called him - Mr. Ben
His parties were rated a perfect ten
Always held in his mesmerizing mansion
The farmer knew attending would be a best decision
And so that day finally arrived
The farmer had never felt so alive
He went wearing his most treasured shirt
Just for that day, he ain't covered in dirt
They all stand to hear Mr. Ben's long speech
He's excited to taste the food he could reach
But suddenly there was an endless loud shooting sound
And most of the attendees dropped dead to the ground
The farmer now lying helplessly
Couldn't stop thinking of his family
For the first time in history
It wasn't food he wants so dearly
In his final moment the farmer happened to realize
His petty desire comes with unattainable price
And yet...
His stomach still protests until his last breath
As his frail bony figure, welcomed death.
