Analysis of Cold nights

Why is it that the days are fine
But the nights are cold...?
The memories that should've faded
Never seem to get old..?
Why is it that the stars
They also stopped giving me hope...?
The moon i looked at
Stares back without any thought...?
Why is it that the words
Have also decided to leave my world...?
The emotions I felt
Have run dry and are at a hold....?
Why is it that every small thing
Feels highlighted and bold...?
The things I hear
Make me a culprit to my core...?
Why is it that the unexpected rain
Seems like my fault...?
And the tears in their eyes
Were the wounds to which I added salt...??
Why is it that the progress
I made is at a hault...?
And the breezes of the day
Are also starting to feel cold...?
