Dependable, honest, and trustworthy,
Keeps others from being discouraged.
Your laughter of inspired love,
Your kindness of understanding,
Helpful, strong and wonderful,
Never impossible or too demanding.
Your security of protection,
Your freedom from despair,
Guarding people from danger,
Something that is rare.
Your compatible friendship,
The love that is everlasting,
Your innovation for life,
Always, but forever standing.

About this poem
I wrote this poem about someone that was very special and inspiring to me when I was going through some trying times. Our type of communication was through letters. The inspiring words he wrote would comfort me, even though he couldn't be there with me.
