Analysis of Be Still
Jane Brawley Jordan 1951 (Statesville, North Carolina)
Be Still ....with the moon and stars in sight,
as you stare above in the serene quiet of the night,
as God speaks to you. Heals you. Calms you.
Feel the pulse of the universe running through your veins baring your soul ungloved,
knowing one thing...that you are loved.
Drown out all voices, noises and rest. Focus on one circle of light in your minds' eye, pretending it is the the moon to guide you, as you are night's guest.
Hear the silence that is golden embrace you. Feel the arms of our heavenly Father wrapped around you saying,
I love you.
Every hair on your head. Every tear that you shed. Every laugh you utter or song you sing. I love you with everything,
I love you every minute, hour, day, week, month, year and decade. Unconditionally. You are never alone. My love will never fade.
Come home. I do not care about anything you have done that is bad, but forgive all if you come to me. I will remove the sad. Talk with me. Sup with me.
You are loved. You are secure. Breathe in my love and exhale the peace. Sleep well within my arms while I hold you and caress your head where you will find sweet release.
Know that I am God. All will be well. No matter what you feel......
Be still my child.
