Analysis of Quick Fix

While you were hiding, time didn't stand still
And you can't get it back with a drink or a pill
Quick fixes will only help dull the pain
Quick fixes are needed again and again

Before you know it, you've run out of time
Here's one more pill, and a bottle of wine
You can't fool time, with gimmicks or tricks
But you do have time, for one last quick fix.
