Analysis of Beware of the Dream Vendor

JESUS BETANCOURT 1955 (New York)

I purchased a dream on a sleepless night
Paid for it right away
It was a nightmare that gave me a fright
To awaken I had to wait until the next day

I fell asleep as a nonagenarian
It must've been really deep
Cause I woke up as a centenarian
The Dream Vendor didn't tell me I'd oversleep
