Analysis of Gone Without A Trace
Just the other night, I was thinking of you.
Thinking of how I was in love with you.
How you said you loved me too.
Forever, together we'd be.
Now it's just a memory past.
Oh, how I wished it would last.
Being with you, holding you,
Kissing you, your touch.
I miss how you made me laugh
And the way you said goodnight.
Even the occasional visits we shared,
And the pettiest little fights.
I wish you were here right now
To see the expression on my face,
From when we used to share this love
That is now gone without a trace.

About this poem
I wrote this poem in my younger years after my first love. We were still friends, but I still had feelings that would weigh me down.
