Analysis of Jules Verne

Joe Strickland 1986 (Hobbysville, SC)

In the land of Jules Verne,
Where adventure lies at every turn,
The air is thick with dreams and possibilities,
And the skies stretch far beyond the seas.

With every step I take,
I feel the thrill of the unknown,
Excitement coursing through my veins,
As I explore this world on my own.

From dusty bookshops to forgotten libraries,
I find my way to every tale,
Of explorers and pioneers,
Who dared to set sail.

Through jungles and deserts,
Over mountains and through the sea,
I brave the unknown with every step,
My heart beating wild and free.

In the face of danger and adversity,
I never hesitate nor falter,
For in the land of Jules Verne,
Every challenge is just another chapter.

With every new adventure,
I am transformed and reborn,
My spirit lifted high,
By the stories of those who have come before.

In the land of Jules Verne,
Where imagination reigns supreme,
I am free to be anything I wish,
And explore all my wildest dreams.

So I will wander this world,
With my heart open wide,
Seeking out all the wonders it holds,
With Jules Verne as my guide

Joe Strickland

I'm just a regular, blue collar, working stiff who took an interest in writing poetry many years ago but until recently I haven't had a desire to share any with anyone or pursue publication. I'm an unpublished fork lift operator by night, and a day drinker by choice. I can be followed on Twitter @JoeStricklandSC more…
