Analysis of Silver Mirror
Oh! silver mirror on the wall,
Speak in honesty or fall.
Is not a mother best of all?
Once she stood before you dull,
Her belly rounded as a ball.
Oh! silver mirror on the wall.
You saw her pain buried in bliss,
You heard the cry and saw the kiss.
Is not a mother best of all?
When cord severed, her babe could flee
But she said not to wayward glee.
Oh! silver mirror on the wall.
She grooms her babe with chalk and whip
So as age pass, it's knowledge heap.
Is not a mother best of all?
Like waterfall into a stream,
She pours in value to a dream.
Oh! silver mirror on the wall,
Is not a mother best of all?
