Analysis of Rain
Today I was staying inside,
Why? It was raining outside,
My mood was going downhill,
The water droplets made me ill.
Of course not physically ill,
My state of mind needed a refill,
I felt like a monkey in a cage,
Watching the day go by as we age.
This was me, a nihilistic guy,
Who saw nothing but a grey sky
Out of rain, which was just a pain,
Hidden under no colours, insane.
But then mystery caught my eye,
A lad with a hoodie in rain, I wonder why,
He was tired from all the running
And rested close to my house, stunning.
I approached him and said:
"What are you doing here and not inside instead?"
He was calm, and with an ambitious voice:
"Man, I am reborn, that's my choice"
"Reborn what? Is this guy crazy?"
I said in my mind while feeling lazy
"Rain is no grey prison brother, rain is determination
Just another tool of rising from the occassion"
"The thunders and soaking are just the test,
Trying to scare you, trick you to rest
But you must be the most ambitious of them all
Of them people, society you can call."
He was right. He was motivating,
His thinking was captivating,
"I like this thinking, I want a change
My life is bad, want it to arrange"
"Very well, see you tomorrow,
You will love the time you will borrow
And the time from the next one as well
You'll rise from the deep parts of hell!"
Hell...this means one thing,
This is a religious something,
Or maybe sophisticated wordings,
I'm not sure, but I'm up for new meetings!
One month later, I am friends with this lad,
He's a crazy ambitious man and I'm glad
I got up by his wing,
Becoming something!
It started raining again, we were running now,
Asking "Do you have someone to bow?",
I said "No? What do you mean?"
Dissapointed he said: "So you're not clean."
"God is the Creator of us all,
Who brings joy and forgiveness if we fall,
He also brings challenges and tests,
To see if His children overcome the quests
Rain is one of His creations by the way,
It doesn't have a precise time of the day,
Therefore with all its uncertainity,
He can challenge you till infinity!"
Then I remembered when we met,
When he mentioned thunders and being wet,
That's what he meant, from the start,
To God and christianity he was a part.
That day I converted to christianity,
I could feel my mind with much more clarity,
I thanked him with all my respect,
He saved me, by being direct.
